About Long Quay House
Nestled in the heart of Kinsale, Long Quay House is an elegant Georgian townhouse dating back to the 18th century. With its original limestone archway and period features like traditional wooden shutters, the house blends historic charm with a welcoming atmosphere.
Each room is spacious and thoughtfully styled to reflect the building’s heritage, offering comfort and character in equal measure. While the property does not have a lift, assistance with luggage is always available – just ask.

Historic landmarks such as Charles Fort, Desmond Castle, and St. Multose Church are just a short stroll away, as are boutique shops, cosy pubs, and award-winning restaurants.
For the more adventurous, the area is a haven for yachting, sea angling, diving, and golf – with two 18-hole golf courses only a short drive from the house.

We had the most enjoyable stay from the moment we arrived we were met by a very friendly and helpful man, who helped us with our bags and had a chat, the following morning at breakfast were served by very friendly staff, beautiful breakfast, and had another lovely chat, I can honestly say that both the proprietors husband and wife are the most genuine and friendly down to earth people we have met in any place we have stayed, it was our second visit and will definitely not be our last, Eddie and Lucia from Doneraile

We were on a bus tour of Cork and stopped in Kinsale for the night. We had pre-booked our rooms but really didn't know what to expect. The location is absolutely perfect overlooking the harbour and easy walking distance to all the pubs and sights in the town. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and decorated to a high standard. The owner and his family tend to one's every need. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and filling and the hostess was delightful. I wish we could have stayed another night! I do hope to go back.
Absolutely marvellous. The House is beautifully maintained and clean, better than anywhere we’ve experienced in Ireland. Our room was large, lovely with exquisite furniture. A separate couch, chair and seating area provided a relaxing space with a TV. No elevator, but the owner’s family will carry your luggage up the stairs. Breakfast is ample and made to order. There is a digital coffee machine that freshly brews coffee. The owners are wonderful people who care for their clients and enjoy a chat. We wish everywhere was as nice as Long Quay House.
